I also love the year that we have had. Its been messy and horrid in spots, but I have come out the other side much better.
Both houses are now exchanged and we will settle them on the same day in early december.
Its going to be a very busy month!!

myer is my store
Our full day of training was an 8 hour day - felt so good to be out of the house for that whole time. I didnt realise how much I actually would enjoy that time.
It will be weird work - not sure how much I will get due to the fact that I can only work at certain times - but hopefully it will be a good time.

wowsies
This lady is my age. She has nine children already and she is now pregnant with her 10th - which from the above heading, she will pbly have in jail.
The interesting thing is that since we moved into our new house, we have seen this lady around here as her partners mother lives near by. I see her all the time with about 4 or 5 of the young kids.
I really dont know what to think about this. My head is full of thoughts. Its not for us to judge this woman, but to love her. I pray that I can do that.

weight loss
world wide web
I like to think that updating our family website with photos of my kids is an okay thing to do.
I like to twitter because I have a bunch of things going on in my head and this helps me to deal with them bit by bit.
I enjoy checking Facebook because its helped me get back in contact with a bunch of people that I would never have known how to get in contact with.
I think that the world wide web is out of OUR control and it does matter what you put up, because it will always be there for someone to find or use. People who blog about work or friends or life in general need to realise that it will always be there and someone will always find it. If you dont want people to know about it or use it against you - dont put it out there in the first place. YOU need to take responsibilty for YOURSELF and not blame others when something goes wrong.

dieting my way
I cannot just do no carbs - its far too hard for me, so I am trying not to have as many carbs as I usually would, so if I have toast for breakfast, I wont have bread for lunch. I try not to have carbs at dinner unless we need it. Some days I have more than others, but I have really cut back. Also, being away of my portion size and only serving up a small amount.
I have also incorporated a little bit of weight watches into the diet as well - I wasnt going to re join for the third time and pay money to get weighed, I am just being aware of what I am eating in "points value" so I know by the end of the day whether or not I should be having dessert or not.
I am no good at cutting out all sugar and sweets - I need some form of sugar to get me thru some long days. I allow myself to eat a little bit when I feel like I need some - which isnt every day, just some. If I tried to cut it all out straight out, I would crave it to much and thats when I find I will eat the whole block of chocolate at once.
Exercise is a major component in weight loss of any kind, so I am trying to do at least 30 minutes 3 times a week. I have achieved this every week since I have started, and instead of just doing the same sorts of exercise, I am trying to do either a walk/jog, a swim or a bike ride. I find that if I just do the same thing, I dont lose any weight and then I just cant be bothered to keep going.
SO, all that combined into one and I have now lost 6 kilos since the start of January. I am aiming to lose 6 more, so hopefully by the time winter is here I will have been able to do that.

exercise
I went for a walk up the hill behind our house tonight and then when I got to the bottom of the hill, I ran home along the road.
My legs feel like jelly and I feel like I could crawl up in a ball and just die.
I wonder if it gets any easier?

changes
We have now had the experience of bringing 3 newborn babies into our home.
When Moo came home, it was trying to adjust to having just one extra tiny little person at home. Cade took weeks off work to help out and we thought we were pretty busy. Every little thing that she did was documented and noted. I had a pad of paper and a pen on the coffee table where I wrote down all her feeds and nappy changes for at least the first 8 weeks. I was keen to put her "up" into the new size clothes, the bigger nappies, cot, bath and everything else. She fed perfectly every 4 hours and was very naturally routined which made life very easy for us all. She slept wrapped for a long time - almost until she was 10 months old. Her baby book was filled in at every step of the way.
When TB came home we moved town, so that was a massive task in itself - throw in a newborn baby and you have a total blurr of everything that went on. We were trying to sell our house, pack up our stuff and look after two babies. I still had my pad of paper, but it only lasted a few weeks until we moved and then I was far too tired to think about anything apart from unpacking. She was just put "up" into everything when we moved, as it was just easier to do so. She also fed 4 hourly but was less routined than what Moo was. She slept wrapped until she was about 5 months old. Her baby book was filled in -but always at a later date (hey - better late than never).
And now we have Alice home and settled. The pad of paper didnt even come out of the cupboard this time (could you imagine leaving a pen on the coffee table with two toddlers???). She will be in size 0000 clothes until the buttons cannot be done up any more. She will be in the baby nappies until they dont do up around her waist line (108 nappies for the same price as the next box down!!). She will be in the bassinet until her toes are poking out the end (easier to wash a pillow case than a whole set of sheets). She also feeds 4 hourly, but I wake her up more often than that to "squeeze" in extra feeds for convienience so we can all sleep or go out in the car. She sleeps in my bed more than what the others ever did and if she falls asleep on the floor or on her belly - I am more than happy to leave her like that. She doesnt have a baby book....
Things change.
For better or for worse?
Who cares!
