kicking it - some tips!

Still going strong! Cant say its easy - it consumes my thoughts and my taste buds are yelling at me for some sugar. I had to pull a treat out for Alice for toileting and the smell of the Allens lollies was so strong... I couldnt believe it. Even the toothpaste now tastes so sweet!

A couple of tips for kicking sugar out of your diet:

# Shop online if you can - you then only buy exactly what you are looking for and dont have to be tempted in the shop
# Buy things with sugar in them that you normally wouldnt eat - so for my visitors I have kingstons biscuits, which I normally wouldnt eat. I know they are there in my cupboard, but I have no interest in eating them. For the kids I have tiny teddies. I know they are there - but again, I have no interest in eating them.
# Sugar free gum will get you past that 3pm struggle. That and a big glass of water.
# Full cream milk. I am not a massive breakfast eater - in fact, I hardly ever eat it, so Im trying really hard now to have a glass of milk and some toast for breakfast. I know I cant have milk on an empty stomach, so the toast helps there!

Im going to weigh myself in the morning for the first time this week. I dont know if I really feel like Ive lost any weight or more than usually, so it will be interesting to see if there is any difference at all.
